Refund policy

Consumers are entitled to a right of withdrawal as set out below, whereby a consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor attributable to their independent professional activity:

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last goods.

Notwithstanding the above, in the case of a contract for the regular delivery of goods over a specified period, the withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the first goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Ceria Foods and Goods GmbH, Krenmoosstraße 37, 85757 Karlsfeld, Germany, Tel.: +49176 610 60251, E-Mail: info@ceria-foods.de) by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the attached sample withdrawal form, which is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication regarding your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will you incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking their quality, properties and functionality.

Exclusion or Premature Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely in the case of contracts for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers who are not citizens of a European Union member state at the time of the conclusion of the contract and whose sole residence and delivery address at the time of the conclusion of the contract are outside the European Union.

According to § 312g para. 2 no. 9 BGB, a right of withdrawal does not exist, unless otherwise agreed, for contracts for the provision of services in connection with leisure activities if the contract provides for a specific date or period for the provision. Accordingly, a right of withdrawal is also excluded for contracts concerning the sale of tickets for time-bound leisure events.

General Information

1. Please avoid damage and contamination of the goods. Please return the goods to us in their original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure sufficient protection against transport damage with suitable packaging.

2. Please do not send the goods back to us carriage unpaid.

3. Please note that the aforementioned points 1-2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
